I created Cielo Spa as a sanctuary. I was inspired by my Mexican heritage to name my Santa Barbara day spa Cielo. The word "Cielo" translated from spanish to english means "Heaven". With my many years of experience as both a licensed Esthetician and a Massage Therapist, my goal is to provide you with a calming and relaxing experience. Your personalized beauty treatment will balance your spirit, health, and body.

Roxanne Zbinden's caring and calming demeanor has made her a celebrated esthetician among Santa Barbara day spa patrons. As owner of Cielo Spa, a Santa Barbara-based day spa, Roxanne has established a reputation for bestowing excellence in service on all of her clients.

Roxanne has been building her reputation in the spa industry over the past seven years, but her desire to provide the highest level of service possible led to opening her own day spa in January 2006. Her mission is to provide the utmost relaxation and serenity with every treatment. During treatments, Roxanne creates an environment that ensures her clients are pampered and well taken care of.

In 2000, Roxanne received her Esthetician License from the Santa Barbara City College Cosmetology Academy. She complemented her skincare training by studying massage at The Body Therapy Institute, where she graduated in 2002. Since then, she has continued her education focusing on advanced skin care classes at the International Dermal Institute. Keeping up with the latest innovations in the industry, Roxanne has also studied under celebrity stylists, such as Oprah's eye brow shaper, Anastasia. Roxanne is aware of the latest demands in the industry and has most recently completed a certification program to add Eye Lash Extensions to her repertoire.

As a third generation Santa Barbarian, Roxanne enjoys being surrounded by her family. She and her husband spend every free moment with their three young children, taking advantage of the opportunity to expose them to the city's unique sites and sounds. Roxanne also actively participates in school activities and volunteers in the classroom. In all, Santa Barbara offers her the perfect lifestyle to balance career and family.
